“Bought this since it was the complete system. I did not need to search for multiple parts separately. The triple seal flange is easy to install and seems far superior to mount holes that poke through the membrane. I even had an unexpected water incident when hooking up the supply lines and water poured into my not yet fully cured pan! I quickly watched the water disappear though as the weep holes did the trick! Very pleased so far!”

“After installing a Wondercap All-In-One Shower Drain Kit w/round strainer in a new mud shower pan, we selected a small rectangular tile for the shower floor. Just before we began tiling, we realized that tiling would have been a lot easier if we had installed a Wondercap All-In-One Shower Drain Kit w/square strainer. Then we learned that the Wondercap Square Strainer and Wondercap Round Strainer were completely interchangeable without making any changes to the Wondercap All-In-One Shower Drain! Both strainers have the same heavy high quality look and feel! We tiled in a Wondercap Square Strainer with ease and are glad that we did! It added a finishing touch that made the entire shower more beautiful than we had imagined! We love everything about our experience with these Wondercap products and the company!”

“The Wondercap All-In-One Shower Drain is a good economical unit that works in multiple shower installations including PVC Shower Pan Liners. It comes ready to use and is easy to install. I had no problems setting it up and it appears like it will last for a while. I would recommend this product as the price is reasonable and it is made of quality material. “Building a shower pan and installing a shower drain is not for the weak. This drain kit makes it the best though. It has everything you need to be successful. There is the basic drain that glues to your 2" pvc pipe. There is an adjustable neck. There are test plugs. My favorite is a square strainer for easy fitting of tile around the top. The detailed and thorough instructions are great and will walk you through each step. If you are going to install your first shower drain, this is a great place to start!”

“Wondercap 2" All-In-One Shower Drain Kit with Square Silver Strainer. Outstanding Quality Made product. Very Clear Instructions in English. Packaging insures all parts are included with a plastic seal over the entire unit with two small screw clips that hold the package in place. The clips are very easily removed with a small pen knife. My project is replacing my 35 year old original owner fiberglass shower with a new modern looking shower in high end tile and high end plumbing fixtures. This is my winter project that I'm now securing all the parts that are required for this upgrade. Reading all the reviews online has provided valuable information on do's and don'ts, along with some great recommendations. I'm going to hire a professional for the plumbing and drain pan. I do not want ANY leaks when installation is complete and hope it all lasts for another 35 years. I have compared this part to other manufactures and I'm sure this is the best available for the very fair price.”

“I recently installed this shower drain and I could not believe how easy it was to install. My tiler could work with the drain and not be worried by putting rubbish in the open drain because of the cap. Loved the chrome brass strainer!”

“Honestly when my wife purchased this tile cut drain I was concerned since she bought it off Amazon. I saw Wondercap commercial that it works with these types of drains and so I purchased the Wondercap shower drain and jeez louise! It worked perfectly! A little extra mortar mix and it just slipped in easily! Man this shower drain invention is next level. How it has only just hit the market... I do not know, but it's just so easy. Highly recommend. Look forward to Ace stocking the product rather than purchasing online.”

I’ll pay thirty and change for a square adjustable top at the local tile wholesaler. A lot of the retile jobs we have to completely replace the drain anyway. “This is a great product with many great features. On top it has a 4 inch square chrome brass shower drain. It has a very sleek design with a better drainage system that helps stop drainage problems. “When the plumber is thrilled about a product it must be good. Our plumber raved about the Wondercap shower drain fitting saying it was better than sliced bread! It made the whole liner, assembly, shower base install much quicker and I'm thrilled to not have all that crap falling into the drain. I often though plumbers were purposefully messy in allowing so much crap to fall into the open drain during construction only to come back and charge an arm and a leg to snake out the debris. The Wondercap so far has been a real timesaver to our shower install. And, the fit and finish of the exposed materials is top notch and looks to last a long time. Pros: Easy to Install, Good Instructions, No Leaks, Reliable, eliminates construction debris from drain.”

“The Wondercap 2” square drain is a great product and not that difficult to install for the DYI'er. The design includes a lock-turn strainer/cap that gives easy access for drain cleaning if needed. It comes with a square polished chrome strainer which can be easily replaced if need be.. The installation instructions are very easy to follow. It is an excellent design and a very durable product. The drain kit has everything you need in one package. The inner and outer flanges that assemble together make it so easy to assemble and create a nice sealed drain. “My plumber tried to use a standard cast iron drain in my shower stall, but due to the structure, it would not fit between the beefed up floor joists! But the WONDERCAP easily fit and he was surprised at how easy this cap is to install. It literally saved this job from needing the floor torn out. My tile setter was surprised by this great cap, when he was floating the pan. I would repurchase and highly recommend.”

“As far as high-end shower drains go this is probably the best of the best. Just taking it out of the box the quality of it is apparent. A lot of thought and time was put into the design of this thing which is kind of funny for what is basically a hole in the ground :p I also like that it comes with the test plug for the leak test (nice touch to include that) Just feature-packed, it is treated to with anti-bacterial material to keep it cleaner longer.......anyways this should make my new shower install go just a little more smoothly which I do appreciate!”

“This is a pro quality All-In-One Tile Shower Drain compatible with shower constructions using a PVC pan liner, waterproof membranes, and Schluter-Kerdi showers. Very thorough and detailed shower pan preparation and drain installation instructions are provided plus special markings on key components like the protective cap which reminds installers not to remove the glued on protective cover until tiling is complete to prevent contamination of internal drain parts by tile cement. It includes multiple "PRO TIPS" throughout the instructions that provide important info to assist the installer in doing it right, what possible challenges might be encountered, and even in one case what to do if the installer messes up and has not allowed for the proper tile thickness in setting the drain base. “I have just finished my second bathroom renovation and it was actually the easiest thing due to Home Depot. We had a shower enclosure that was glued directly to the studs, and we finished it off with sliding glass doors and with this shower drain kit. I have to say it looks magnificent. The hardest thing was of course making the decision of round vs square, and we chose the round one. Perfect!”

“THE BEST I'VE SEEN YET!!! I'm remodeling my home four bedroom two and half bathroom. I've already completed the half bath and the first full bath.. We have been planning this master bath for close to 3 months now.. I will be using all Laticrete products hydro ban board to their fractured membrane waterproofing and I will be using (ALFALUX) Porcelain tile for the shower And I have a few other things I still need to decide on but one most important piece that I have now decided to use?? YEP YOU GUESS IT THE WONDERCAP SHOWER DRAIN.. For the do-it-yourselfer guys and ladies out there that are not too sure about this part when you're making your own shower pan, this is the best thing you can buy because of all its latest technology with the bacteria smell germs clogged drains and the list goes on and on…”

“First of all, I am no professional in respect of plumbing, and so I employed one to do this for me, i.e. to install this drain into the walk in shower I did make. And so, having said that, I rely on his own experience to enable me to write this review. The first thing he remarked on was the quality and finish and the way the strainer locks into place. Line up and give a twist to the right and that’s it. As the shower room was already in place, other than the flooring and tiles, I left him to install the drain. The results were astounding and only took him 1-1/2 hours the first day and an hour the next for it to be completed. In his own words he told me that he has fitted half a dozen in a number of houses and he has never yet experienced a leaky one. The most annoying thing, he told me, was getting the plastic rivets out of the package. Other than that, it was straight forward. Instructions are enclosed and are precise with their instructions.”

“Although this is an expensive drain, it is well constructed with a convenient, easy to adjust feature that helps insure a fool proof and leak proof shower drain installation when constructing a ceramic tile base. The chrome drain plate has a quality finish, not the usual cheap chrome strainer that's included with most shower drains. The drain comes with excellent instructions, and there's good YouTube videos also to assist with installation.”

“This is a top quality drain. When you compare this to others in store you will see the quality difference. You can only install this once when doing your install, why not get the best? Got this for my shower remodel, removing an old one piece plastic tub and going with a shower. I figure why not get a quality drain as its one of the most important things when doing this type of job. Also like that it comes square instead of the usual round, I prefer as it looks a bit more modern.”
